Last September 16, Bioré, Japan’s Number 1 brand of make-up removers had a press launch at Spatzle Café, Shangri-la Mall. The event was hosted by former MYX VJ, Karel Marquez with guest make-up artist, Jigs Mayuga. It was an intimate event for the press and beauty bloggers as Bioré intended to educate every Filipina and beauty enthusiasts about the proper way of removing make-up with its line of make-up removers that were launched here in the Philippines last August at selected drug stores.
According to a consumer usage research conducted by Kao Corporation earlier this year, 7 out of 10 women in the Philippines don’t use a proper make-up remover to remove their make-up and the proper way to do so ( Source : Added Value Saffron Hill, Feb 2015 ).
Most Filipinas today use a wide range of facial washes, toners, astringents, soaps and creams. Only a few actually are aware that the current methods to take off make-up are not as effective as using a proper make-up remover. This is the reason why most end up using effort to rub off their make-up during cleansing which can give negative results for the skin. On top of this, incomplete removal of make-up will leave make-up residues which may cause clogged pores and eventually leads to pimples and dull, rough skin.
Bioré’s line of make-up removers are very effective and safe for the skin. It’s also extremely simple to use and gentle, making even waterproof make-up easy to take off with a simple rinse or wipe. According to the consumer research, almost all women experienced that their skin became smoother, softer and more moisturized after using Bioré.
Here are some photos I took from the event…

Of course, I took the chance of having a photo with one of my favorite make-up artists, Jigs Mayuga. I super love his column on manilastandardtoday.com.

One of the reasons why I love being a blogger… The perks! Thank you Biore! 🙂

What’s inside our gift boxes… Took an impromptu flatlay photo on our table at the event.
Check out Bioré’s line of make-up removers available in 4 variants. The Cleansing Oil, which is its flagship product, the perfect companion for rinsing off make-up including the waterproof ones. The 2 in 1 Cleanser which comes out in lush foam, ideal for those using light makeup (not yet available in the Philippines). Bioré’s Cleansing Water, a great wipe off option for women who do not like oil based products. And lastly, Biore’s renowned Cotton Sheets that contain the Cleansing Oil, for girls on the go.
I’ll also be doing a separate post with my review on their make-up removers.
XOXO,
Leah 🙂
I have the micellar water. Didn’t have such a good experience with the cleansing oil from before pa, but I’m about to open up the cleansing water. Hope it’ll be a better experience for me.

Hi Matromao. For me the Micellar Water is the best among the four. Let me know if you loved it too! 🙂
