Review: Zoeva Rose Golden Blush Palette

Hey guys! I think I’m kinda late about reviewing this blush palette, but I’m still going to cause I just got this last month from Well I think this palette launched around April last year and I’ve read a lot of love-hate reviews about it. So here’s my honest review about the Zoeva Rose Golden Blush palette. Enjoy! 🙂

This Palette comes in a thin cardboard packaging with a rose gold covering. The products are placed in three separate pans. It’s light weight and travel friendly.

About the Product: (from

The Zoeva Rose Golden Blush Palette contains three shades for contouring, highlight and blush. The powder formulation of the products are enriched with vitamin E, easy to blend and 100% free of parabens, mineral oils, perfume, nano and phthalates. Superior pigmentation and it is made in Italy.

Heavy Crown – A muted chocolate shade with a matte finish that is perfect for contouring. I love this contour shade. It is not too dark/overpowering on the skin. Perfect for everyday use.

Glowing Still – A pure white iridescent hue that illuminates and highlights the facial structure exquisitely. It looks so white on the pan, but once you swatch or test it on your face, it looks like a pearlized white powder with a yellow-gold sheen.

Palace Door – A regal peach-toned rose gold shimmer that adds a sumptuous flush of color to the cheeks. Again, this one’s totally different on the pan and on the skin. It’s a medium pink peach with a rose gold sheen.

L-R: Palace Door, Glowing Still, Heavy Crown

I think this palette shouldn’t be called a blush palette cause it doesn’t just have a blush in it, but also a contouring powder and highlighter. Also, it only has one kind of blush, so why is it called a blush palette? Hahaha! I think Zoeva should change the name.

Overall, the only shade that I love from this palette is Heavy Crown. I love how natural looking this shade is for contouring and so easy to blend. For Palace Door,  I’m really not into shimmery blushes. I think this blush shade doesn’t work well on morena to dark skin tones cause it’s way too sheen that the shade just turns out to be a semi-highlighter instead of a blush. Glowing Still, on the other hand is way too powdery and too white for me. I think Zoeva should create more shades for this palette line for different skin tones just like their eye shadow palettes which they have a lot of. I’ll rate this palette 3 out of 5! 🙂
