Hey guys! I just want to share my summer skin care must haves when travelling. Summer season is about to end, but since the weather here in the Philippines is basically summer all year long, I think that these skin care essentials should still be on your list when travelling especially when travelling around the country.
Whether you’re off on an epic road trip, heading to the beach to get a tan, or just want to get lost and appreciate the beauty of nature by hiking, these travel-friendly skin care products are what you need to be totally summer ready. Some of these favorites are even in travel size containers that can be brought on short trips, because they save space in your travel vanity kit.
These skin care products are the must-haves on my list and I divided them into three parts: before sun, after sun, and before going to bed.
After bath, I only put one product on my face and body before heading out especially when exploring outdoors, hiking or before taking a walk on the beach… and that’s sun-block! Sun block is very important, guys, especially when you know you’ll be out and be under the sun all day long! I also really don’t like putting on too many products on my face because I feel like the products will react and damage my skin when overly heated by the sun.
After sun exposure, I make sure to take a bath and wash off unnecessary dirt especially on my face just to feel fresh again. I put my after sun oil all over my hair and body and make sure to moisturize my face, so it will still feel soft and won’t get dry after a long day out.
After washing my face and putting my regular go-to toner, I use my favorite gel type moisturizer and my favorite eye cream. These steps are a must, whether you’re travelling or not. This is also the step where you pamper your skin and let it rest from all the travelling, dust, makeup and sun exposure all throughout the day.
Lastly, don’t forget to protect your eyes by wearing your favourite sunnies, and drink lots of water.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
