Hey guys! Here’s another travel blog! But before anything else, I’d like to apologize in advance, because this blog will have a lot of photos!!! A LOT! π It’s been a dream of mine to climb Mt. Ulap for as long as I can remember! It all started the first time I went trekking in Batad, Ifugao, and saw the sea of clouds over Sagada, people were talking about how beautiful Mt. Ulap was. And since you all know how fascinated I am with the clouds, I immediately researched all about Mt. Ulap, and that started my dream! I thought that if I could climb Mt. Ulap, I’d be able to touch and taste the clouds! Yes, you read it right… TASTE! And it tasted nothing! Hahaha!

Never not chasing the sun! π
When we departed from Manila to Itogon, I started to worry because it was drizzling. I was praying that the weather would be good to us before we started our climb… and it did get better! God is so good! It didn’t rain at all. Though at some point during the hike, it got really cloudy and foggy, but thank God the rain didn’t pour. I WAS ABLE TO TOUCH AND TASTE THE CLOUDS!!! Hahaha! I know it sounds silly and super “babaw,” but the little girl in me just needed her dose of heaven after a long and tiring hike! And as for the real me… you know when I dream, I make it happen. Always!

It was so cold, I had to change! Haha! :))

Our fifth climb together for this year! π
At one point, the clouds were so thick that we couldn’t see anything anymore, so we got creative. We figured out where to take cliff photos that are as pretty as the usual cliff photos from Mt. Ulap (or even prettier)! Just to be different! π

Our signature pose every climb! π

This is me touching the clouds! π

Look at that beautiful sea of clouds! One of God’s amazing creations! π
I’m so happy that I got to share this dream with someone special. β€ We definitely want to see this beauty again this summer! π
So, where to next? π
