LEAHTRAVELS: Coron, Palawan – Breathtakingly Beautiful

Last November 6-9, we travelled to one of the most beautiful beach destinations in the Philippines, Coron in Palawan. It was our first time in Coron and the entire experience was amazing. It was more than what we expected and planned for, and it was totally worth it.

I had a problem with our flight when I was booking it, so we had to go all the way to Clark just to take the plane ride to Coron and back to Manila. For our accommodations, we booked a four day, three night stay at this incredible beach resort, Balinsasayaw Resort. We had an incredible experience there. Aside from staying in an exclusive island (you need to take a boat to the resort), there were no TVs and no wifi, making the entire stay more relaxing and interactive. There’s a gaming area, where we were able to play board games, darts and billiards when we wanted to kill time (it was so much fun) and a gorgeous infinity pool with the view of the ocean. The food at the resort was also good and we ordered whatever we wanted and even asked for an exclusive date night dinner by the beach at one of their cottages on our last night. They prepared one of the best dates we’ve ever had as we also celebrated our 21st monthsary. From the food to the view, the entire experience was magical. I can’t stop saying how amazing everything was. Watching the sunrise and sunset were also one of the best parts of our trip as well as the island hopping that we did on the second day (visited 6 islands in total – we rented a private boat for this one to maximize our tour) and the city tour on the third day (visited 5 land destinations via tricycle ride). Coron was one of my favourite trips so far.

Below is the video summarising our trip. Will definitely visit Coron again… I promise! 🙂
