Last February 24-27, we travelled to one of the most historical islands here in the Philippines, Iloilo. Located in the Visayas Region, Iloilo was one of the places to visit on my bucket list because I really wanted to see historical structures and architecture like churches and old houses in the Philippines. We stayed in this simple and affordable beach resort, Bearland in Tigbauan. I super loved their huge pool which connects to the bar.

LEAHTRAVELS: MT. SAWI – A DAYHIKE WITH THE “UN-SAWI” COUPLE
It was 4:45am on May 5 as we started walking towards the summit of Mt. Sawi. I was intrigued with its name, “Mt. Sawi.” The locals didn’t give a lot of information, but as the old story goes, the mountain was named after the suicide story of a girl who was heart broken. Damn! I heard a lot of stories similar to that, but she got the mountain, dude, and that was crazy! So I did my research about this mountain and saw the “Myth of Mt. Sawi”.
LeahTravels: Mt. Maculot – My Hardest Climb To Date
It was March 25, at around 2:30am, as we departed from Manila to Batangas. I only had two hours of sleep, but I was really excited, not just because it’ll be my fourth climb, but also because I’m looking forward to the view that I’m about to see, gonna be climbing again with my boyfriend (our second hike together), and the first hike (that we’re complete) with my dearest friends from the first company I’ve worked for that also became my second family.
LEAHTRAVELS: LA UNION 2018
Last January 27 to 29 was our first out of town trip for the year and we were able to see again the beauty of La Union after three months. We were able to do more this time than the first time we visited San Juan, La Union. This was more fun because we were able to tag along some friends. We were able to surf for two days, explore the city, and discover more food/restaurant destinations.
So here’s a photo diary of our short trip.
LEAHTRAVELS: SURF SESSIONS AT ZAMBALES
Hey guys! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hahaha. Sorry for not being able to b/vlog lately. I was so busy last holiday season due to work and a lot more… but let’s not talk about that! 🙂
For this blog entry I’m gonna be sharing my latest obsession… Surfing! I just want to share my progress on learning how to surf and why I fell in love with it!
I first had my surfing lessons last October 2017 in San Juan, La Union, and I only had one goal… to learn how to surf! It’s been on my bucket list since college and finally I had the time, money, ride, companion and the courage to go there, face my fears and learn to surf.
