LeahTravels: My Favorite Cafes in Siargao

Hey everyone! Since we’re still stuck indoors (hoping this pandemic will end soon), I just want to share two of my favorite cafes in Siargao. I haven’t shared anything yet from my recent trip to Siargao, but I have so much stories to tell and I would like to start with this. I love everything about this island, the vibe, the people, the beaches, the beautiful resorts, the food and the cafes. I’m hoping to buy a property and live there someday. Yes, that’s how much I love Siargao.

There are so many cute cafes in the island, but these two are my favorites. They have that rustic, minimalist vibe. Both are such instagramable places and that’s not all, I have a favorite drink from each cafes too!

LeahTravels: El Nido, Palawan

Last August 7 to 9, we went for a trip to El Nido, Palawan. The top 1 most beautiful destination in Asia and one of the top 10 in the world. We left Manila at around 8:20am and arrived at around 5:30pm. After 9 long hours (1 and a half by air and 7 and a half by land with gazillion stop-overs), finally, we’ve reached our destination. We stayed at La Casa Teresa Beach Resort, a small hostel with a beautiful beach front view. The travel from Puerto Princessa going to El Nido was so tiring and boring, but after seeing El Nido for the first time, it was all worth it! 🙂

Our tour package only cost 7,795pesos (around $180) which includes round-trip airfare, 3D/2N accommodation with free breakfast for two days, van from Puerto Princessa airport going to El Nido and back, island tour (Tour A -A universal tour package in El Nido), and lunch buffet at the tour. As for the pocket money, you’ll only be needing round 5,500pesos (for food, tricycle rides and shopping). That’ll be a total of 13,300pesos (around $302) all-in and… Tadah! You’re good to go! Pretty affordable huh? Continue reading
