It was March 25, at around 2:30am, as we departed from Manila to Batangas. I only had two hours of sleep, but I was really excited, not just because it’ll be my fourth climb, but also because I’m looking forward to the view that I’m about to see, gonna be climbing again with my boyfriend (our second hike together), and the first hike (that we’re complete) with my dearest friends from the first company I’ve worked for that also became my second family.

LeahTravels: El Nido, Palawan
Last August 7 to 9, we went for a trip to El Nido, Palawan. The top 1 most beautiful destination in Asia and one of the top 10 in the world. We left Manila at around 8:20am and arrived at around 5:30pm. After 9 long hours (1 and a half by air and 7 and a half by land with gazillion stop-overs), finally, we’ve reached our destination. We stayed at La Casa Teresa Beach Resort, a small hostel with a beautiful beach front view. The travel from Puerto Princessa going to El Nido was so tiring and boring, but after seeing El Nido for the first time, it was all worth it! 🙂
Our tour package only cost 7,795pesos (around $180) which includes round-trip airfare, 3D/2N accommodation with free breakfast for two days, van from Puerto Princessa airport going to El Nido and back, island tour (Tour A -A universal tour package in El Nido), and lunch buffet at the tour. As for the pocket money, you’ll only be needing round 5,500pesos (for food, tricycle rides and shopping). That’ll be a total of 13,300pesos (around $302) all-in and… Tadah! You’re good to go! Pretty affordable huh? Continue reading
LeahTravels: My Very First Travel Post
I love travelling ever since. I don’t sleep on long drives, I just plug my earphones on, look out the window and appreciate everything, maybe that’s the reason why I have a “GPS” memory. I don’t get lost especially here in Metro Manila. Nucks! Hahaha! I used to travel a lot, but since I’m getting older, busier and lazier, I seldom do so. Being a mother and having my own business doesn’t allow me to travel far and take long vacations, but this 2015, I promised myself to relax and explore more often. It’ll be my special reward to myself.
Here’s a little flashback of my travels…. It’s incomplete though, can’t find the other photos anymore. Sad! 😦
