Hey guys… You all know how much I love lippies more than any make-up products in the world! I can go out without any makeup on except for that one part… my lips! I just can’t forget to put my lipstick on. It’s a big NO NO for me! I have so much love for lipsticks, I have around 150pcs. of it, which all have been used regularly and not yet expired. So here’s a week of my lipstick journey. Enjoy! 🙂
Since my skin is naturally oily, I’m really not a big fan of cleansing oils. I’ve heard that Shu Uemura have the best cleansing oils, so I gave it a try. I just hate when cleansers especially cleansing oils and make-up removers leaves a greasy feeling and makes your skin feel oilier. Thankfully, Shu Uemura cleansing oil doesn’t have that problem. This cleansing oil is phenomenal at removing every last trace of makeup, leaving your skin feel clean and exfoliated. This product is also best in removing mascara and lip products. Truly the best cleansing oil I’ve tried.
What I love about Shu Uemura in general is the fact that they love giving their customers free samples to try on. It makes their consumers feel special. Haha! When I bought this cleanser they gave me a free sample of the Ulimate8 cleansing oil. They said it was their best cleansing oil and truly it was! I loved this brown one more than the pink one that I bought. I was very happy that they gave me this as a freebie, at least I know what to buy next when I finish my first bottle.
Happy new year everyone!!! Let me first give thanks to all the blessings I’ve received last 2014! From the comeback of TheMakeupReviewer to the birth of my make-up artistry online portfolio (http://itsleahrous.wix.com/makeupbyleahrous)… It was definitely a fun and blessed year! Cheers to more reviews and blog posts this 2015! 🙂
Moving forward I’d like to show my beauty haul for December 2014… I just love Decembers not only because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ (which is the most important part of this season), but also the giving and receiving of gifts and the fun times that we spend with our loved ones. This is the only season that we set aside other things that keep us busy and just be with our loved ones celebrating and thanking God for all the blessings He has given us.
So here are some of the cosmetics/beauty products I got for the month of December…
I’m a big fan of using matte lippies cause it is more long-wearing, and for this look I decided to try using only this lip-liner from MAC. A friend of mine recommended MAC’s lip pencil in Beet, but that shade was too light for my skin tone so the make-up artist from MAC recommended this shade instead… More To Love.
